Bonsai is a popular home decor item for tree lovers in Bangladesh.
Giant trees are not seen very often in densely populated cities. A bonsai is a miniature form of a giant tree. Bonsai is a miniature version of a giant tree that can be kept indoors and on balconies for a long time.
The value of bonsai originated in China. Later it expanded in harmony with Japanese culture. With the evolution of time and the benefit of technology, bonsai gradually spread to Asia, Europe, and Africa. Bonsai is a well-known and famous artwork worldwide.
The process and technique of bonsai production are very costly and time-consuming. It takes years to prepare a bonsai. It requires very meticulous care. A bonsai preparation period can last from 1 year to 50 years.
Some people confuse dwarfing with the art of bonsai, but in reality, dwarfing is the study, discovery, or cultivation of plants that are genetically smaller versions of existing species. Selective breeding or genetic engineering are frequently used in plant dwarfing to produce dwarf cultivars. Growing little trees from conventional stock and seeds is what bonsai rely on rather than genetically shrunken plants. In bonsai, miniature trees are created using cultivation methods including pruning, root reduction, potting, defoliation, and grafting to resemble the form and appearance of mature, full-size trees.
